FINALÉ SFIDATO ♫ 8:22 PM
In the beginning, it was fun. In the end, it was all for fun...
SPORTSFEST!! Ö
Wanna hear the story behind our batch name? Alright. Hahah! ^w^ We were searching for names, words, etc. for the batch name. And we thought of Challenged. Specifically, Final Challenged. It has a meaning but this isn't a good place to talk about it. :P Sorry. :D
Anywayss, so I went to this website that could translate any english phrase or even a whole paragraph to different languages. [This is what my friend, Florence, used in China every time we had to write essays in Chinese. Hahah! :P] So I typed in Final Challenged.
Finale Sfidato was what came out and I told Twinkle "Look! This could be a batch name!" Then after that, I don't know what happened, but Finale was scratched out for some reason and our batch name ended up being just Sfidato. Hahah! ^o^
Anyways, can you believe I was in school at 5:20 AM?! Hahahah! :P They said before 6:30, but my sister had to be there at 5:00 and my dad didn't want to bring us separately, so I had to go with my sister. :P
When I got to school, the only seniors there were Pat and Med. ^^ So we stayed inside for a while and the Gianne arrived. For some reason she was craving for Sting [drink]. Hahahah! xD So we went to Kubo, the only place on campus that was open so early in the morning, to buy Gianne's Sting and water for me and Pat. [=
Then we went back to school and saw Leah on the way. Later on, we saw the boys from the Steering Committee. They were all dressed in formal attire and had shades and they stood by the school's entrance like body guards. Hahahah! ^^ So we took pictures :P
There are a lot more other pictures in Gianne's camera. I'm not even sure if the camera was hers or Med's... or Liezl's. Hahah! :P Anyways it's clickable [all the pictures in this post are clickable ^^] so you can see better. ^w^

Then Ino arrived! hahah! :P So we went to Yellow Team with Katchy to see how they were doing. We missed them, what could we do? ^^
We saw they had these awesome red lipstick and crosses on their eyes... JOKERS! :D They were all so cute ^^ just like their upper booth! Hahahah! :D Although they didn't have masks.. :P They just looked like jokers with all the lipstick and the junior boys had lipstick all around their mouths like... joker. Hahah! :P
Then Ino and I asked for crosses. >w< Just one each though [= We didn't wanna be a bother to the ading who was putting two crosses on everyone's faces. [=

After that we went back to the school's entrance where all the other batchmates were. A lot more people arrived and then we all started taking pictures with the Steering Committee again. :))

And for those who didn't have their jackets yet had to wait in school for Ma'am Dep to open the AVR since all the jackets were there. :P

After that we all headed to the gym. :D First was Grand Cheer, then Cheer #3, #2, and #1 from all 6 teams, then the entertainment cheer. [= After the cheering part was the Cat Walk thingy for Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest, then intermission numbers from UB Graces, Seniors, and of course.. the FACULTY! Hahahah! ^w^
It was a little disappointing though. ]= Yellow didn't get any awards. ]= I felt so sorry for Yellow when the audience didn't even bother to applaud for them. T~T
Sure, Yellow and Purple never get high points for audience participation since most alumni are only from the four other teams [Yellow and Purple are only 6 years old]. And alumni are only more or less 50-60 percent of the audience and the rest are parents who don't care about the teams and are only there to see their kids perform, which by the way is pretty useless since it's impossible to spot people in the gym during Sportsfest.
But even if that was the case, Purple even got more attention than yellow. ]= Not that it's a bad thing. Well, it kind of is for the members of Yellow team, but I couldn't help but feel sorry for Yellow Team. T~T
After the whole thing, after our dance and the faculty's intermission number, we all went to our old teams and celebrated with them, played with the confetti and everything. It was fun in the end. ^^
I had a whole bunch of confetti in my hands and said that if Yellow won something I'd throw it all over the place. But the sad thing was that the confetti never left my hands until after the awarding when my hands got itchy. ]=
They didn't even win best Entertainment Cheer. ]= I even told myself that even if Yellow lost, Best Entertainment Cheer is what counts. We've had that award ofr years and there it goes. ]= Best Entertainment cheer went to
[This may be my blog, but I don't think it's my ground to hate on Black Team, so I'm going to leave it here.]
Oh well. In the end it's all about the fun. ^^

Purple might have gotten most disciplined, and Yellow and Red might not have gotten any awards, but that doesn't stop them from going higher! Hahah! xD
Ohh.. yea, that's one more thing.. Red team. ]= For the dry-runs, Red team did pretty good. I wonder what happened? ]=
I'm not going to keep this a secret. I told my cousin [Red team's present Team Leader] that during my brother's time, Red team was the champion. And I told her that if she and her team could bring that back, I'd treat them two 18-inch Yellow Cab pizzas. Hahahah! :P
I was supporting my cousin. Just because we're on different teams that doesn't mean I can't. :D
But when they announced the winners and we found out that Yellow and Red didn't win any awards and that Red wasn't even part of the tops 3, I ran to Red team and gave my cousin a hugggg! ^^ Yellow and Red were on opposite sides of the gym, so I had to run out of the gym and enter through Red Team's side so I wouldn't have to cross the gym floor.
You guys should've seen the look on my cousin's face, she looked like she was about to cry--one of the things she rarely does.
Then I comforted her for a few minutes and ran back to Yellow. ^^
Then Nicki asked for Yellow's Hair Spray thingy that colors the hair. :D It was orange though. [= But it was oober cute. ^^ So Ayel and I asked for some too. ^^ Then our other batchmates did too. Hahah! :P
Although earlier before the Sportsfest started, a few batchmates already had that kind of hairspray in green, complementing our batch jacket. :D
Anyways, I asked Nicki to put some on my hair. :D One side of my hair had a Zig-Zaggie pattern and at the back, I asked her to put a 10 for 2010. ^^
First picture was taken by me and the last picture was taken by Katchy with her phone. Both in the gym. And the other pictures were taken in my room when I got home. Hahah! :P
That's when I realized it was really hard to take a picture of your own back. :P
After I took those pictures, I was supposed to blog about today, but then I started falling asleep, so I put the laptop aside, went up to my room and slept on my bed. Hahahah! :P I put a towel under my head though, I was scared that the color orange might get on my sheets and my pillows. :P That was around 1:30 after lunch. Then I woke up at around 5:30. Hahahah! xD
Then I took a bath and washed off the orange. I lvoed taking a bath! Hahah! The bubbles from the shampoo turned orange! xD It wasn't hard to remove at all. It was like hair gel. Only easier. Hahah! :D
And tomorrow, seniors are required to go to a review thingy for our National Career Assessment Examination [NCAE] on August 26. Originally, we don't have school for tomorrow and Thursday. Friday is a Holiday and Saturday and Sunday are weekends, so it's natural not to go to school. :P
So that makes it a 5-day vacation. But noooo... Ma'am Dep is requiring us to go to school for NCAE reviews. Ugh! > . < What's the point?!?!
NCAE is just like UPCAT, for some people it's even easier. So if we've already taken UPCAT and have already reviewed for it before, I don't see the use of us reviewing for the NCAE. > . <
I don't want to go, and I never planned on going, but sadly, attendance is going to be checked and it's counted as an official school day for us seniors. If it wasn't then I could enjoy the 5-day vacation the way I wanted to. But I guess there's nothing I can do about it now. -.-*
This means I have to wake up early... Shoot. It's 11:27 :P I better go hit the sheets.
