Otayy... So I've fixed my blog... kind of. I still haven't fixed the navigation yet, but I've put the stuff in order.

August 18, 2008, our school celebrated Sportsfest [=

It's this event we love to prepare for although it takes like 2-3 months to do so. We have our teams, we get into them randomly at the start of freshmen year.. [= There are 6 teams, the original ones are Blue, Black, Green and Red.. And around six years ago, the school got over populated and they added two more teams, Yellow and Purple, therefore some students were transfered teams in order to make it equally distributed.. And when I entered Science High for the first time, I wished to be part of Red Team since my brother used to be in that team and they ended up champions for 2 years straight.. But unfortunately, I was in Yellow team, which now, isn't all that unfortunate.. I found out that I belonged to the best team ever! [=

Yellow team was always really happy and fun, which you can tell since the color yellow symbolizes happiness. We didn't get into the top 3 when I was first year, but the year after that, our team leaders were really strict and scary. They'd get mad at us and even curse in front of us, which really brought us down every time we'd practice, we thought that since yellow lost its "happiness", we wouldn't win sportsfest at all. We expected to be somewhere in the lower three ranks just like the year before that. But luckily we won, although we didn't really feel like we deserved it. We thought that just because the yellow team spirit was gone that year, we wouldn't get the chance to win.

But this year, we were the juniors [which by the way, I can't believe] and we were the YDT body.. And in yellow team, we promised ourselves "We won't be like our team leaders last year.. We won't let the freshmen feel what the freshmen felt last year.. And we'll definitely show the sophomores how yellow is really supposed to be.." [=

Our team leaders tried really hard, but the lower years just couldn't understand the meaning of "One word is enough for the wise." And whenever they asked them to sit tall or keep quiet, yea, they would.. For 5 seconds..! And that really ticked Harvee and Kate off. And that's when we juniors understood why our former team leaders used to get mad a lot. But Harvee and Kate still tried their best to keep the "yellow team spirit" going around.. [=

Well, it all worked out and we practiced, cheered, and danced our butts off and it all payed off. Because once sportsfest came, everyone gave their very best and it turned out yellow team got billions of awards! Well, definitely not billions but you get what I'm saying :D

The first award I remember us getting was the Ms. Friendship for our Ms. Sportsfest.. That's the only award or Ms. Sportsfest got. And as for our Mr. Sportsfest, I couldn't accept the fact that he didn't win anything coz he was so cute :D

Anywayss..our next award was Best Entertainment Cheer! Yes! As always! [= We'll be posting our videos on youtube any time soon, we just need to find a chord or a memory stick for the video cam so we can put it in the computer.

Moving on.. The next award we got was the Alumni's Choice Award. Which, by the way, was very unexpected since yellow's only new and most alumni hate yellow and purple. Maybe not hate, but they just don't really like us..

Next award.. Um.. Oh! Best Booth [= We weren't expecting that, but it was great [= it made Kate really happy coz two of the best artists in our batch are from red and kate was really overjoyed and said "Yes!! Talo ko si Cabz!!" hahahahha! =))

According to our team adviser, "You won best booth because of indigenous materials and..." [OK.. I get that part, coz we used moss, plants and stuff like that.. But the next thing he said really got me thinking] "...And there was harmony in it..!"

I was like "Okay?" I thought real hard about that after the Sportsfest ended and up until now all I've got is "Maybe it was the Muse's seat." Hahahahah! =))

And as far as I know, that's all we received.. :D But wait.. It's not over.. The best award we got was 1st runner up! [= It's the second time we've gotten 2nd place but it's the highest rank Yellow team has ever gotten. And I'm glad that one of those two times was when our batch was YDT body, it makes me feel so proud of this batch of Yellow team to have been able to bring the team that high. [=

Right after that, I started coughing over and over, nonstop, and my throat felt really itchy even after taking Strepsils three times. Now it got a lot worse and I had to go to the doctor, she said if I don't take my medicine regularly, it could go to my tonsils and yea.. :p

But it was all worth it, we had fun and we got what we deserved after all the hard work [=

I still can't believe it though, that was our last Sportsfest and we wouldn't be with Yellow next year anymore. It seemed like it was seconds ago when we were freshmen, when we were the ones new to the team.

Freshmen year was the time I used to think that Carpe Diem was all about taking pictures and putting them in blogs and scrapbooks and treasuring the memories for you to remember in the future. But thanks to my Angel, Manang Kryzelle Joy delaRosa, I realized that Carpe Diem isn't all about remembering great memories, it's about living the moment as if it was your last, I learned that from her but then never understood it, I only understood it the moment she walked out of the gym on their Red Carpet Day and I found myself crying my eyes out when I realized that she was never coming back to Science High. I asked myself, "Why didn't I spend more time with her?" and "Why couldn't I find the time to get closer to her?"

But that's a whole different story, what I'm trying to say is that when I finally understood what Carpe Diem really meant, I learned to apply it in my life, and that's what I did in Sportsfest, that's what I did in all those times in my life that I knew I could never relive, guess what? Not a single millisecond of life will ever be relived, so Carpe Diem and live every second as if it was your last. Trust me, never regret even the worst day of your life, it's not worth it. [=

I Stayed Up Til 12 Waiting for Your Reply.. ♫ 7:54 AM

So this happened on August 15, 2008.. Yes, Joe Jonas' Birthday :D [Happy Birthday Joe! :D]

Let's see, where do I start? Well, after school, when I came home, I went online and changed my status on YM to 'I miss talking to you.. ]= I ruined everything. ]=' Well, that's because I didn't see him online, because he barely is. Then he IMed me at 6:48 PM and said "heLow.. .hehe.. .bye na rin.. ." Then that gave me the idea that he was about to sign out, so I told myself "Come on, Chinky, say something before he leaves!" It took him about half a minute [maybe it just seemed like it from my point of view] or maybe even just seconds for him to sign out, I couldn't reply coz I didn't have the time to, I kept thinking about how maybe he read my status message, well of course he did, doii!

But earlier that day, I had to text him about something [not that important for you to know.. But it really was important] but he didn't reply..

[7:28 PM] Then right after he signed out in YM, he texted me then he said ".elow.. .si cAbz 2. .ala. .s0ry ndi ko na kasi gaAnong ginagamit ung isa k0ng no.. .Cge pagsabihan nalang namin sya. .sorry"

[you probably won't get our conversation at the start but it gets better. Lol Well, maybe not.. :p]

Then i replied "No na..Harvi t0ld aica alrdy.. [= thx nlang.."

[7:34 PM] Then he said: ".hus ds pala. ."
that message.. like.. it made me feel sad and angry at the same time..haha! But it was funny cause, yea.. Lol

Me: "Chinky..Pero c k8 ung nagtxt knina.." [Now, that wasn;t true, but I had a personal, unexplainable reason for saying that xD]

[7:44 PM] Him: ".0h. .y0ur gl0be b?"

Me: "N0pe..Smart..d0nt reply na..Sayang l0d.. :p"

[7:54 PM] Him: ".i hAve fReE txt nAn. .hehe. .."

Me: "0k.. [="

[7:57 PM] Him: ".s0. ..h0ws LiFe?"

Me: "M ok lang..u?
Galing knina ng red.. :
i lyk d salt n pepr thng.. :D

[that was sort of a lie too..I knew he made the salt n pepper cheer..I just wanted to have something to say.. Lol]

Me: "K lang..Heheh.. [="

Then after that, he didn't reply..Lol

I stayed up until 12 waiting for it knowing it wouldn't come.. [=

Walk in Nick's Shoes ♫ 3:43 PM


Although I have no diabetes, or any serious sickness like that, this site just really touched me and made me love Nick Jonas and his brothers even more..

It's a site that promotes awareness for diabetes and the people it affects.

Nick wrote the song "A Little Bit Longer" about his own experiences with diabetes. There's a link wherein you can download this song from iTunes and make a donation to Jonas Brothers Change for the Children Foundation. I really wish I could too, although I can't since my dad doesn't allow me to buy from iTunes, that's why I'm promoting it in my blog in order for people to see it and help as well. Click Here to check it out.
