Greek Fest ♫ 6:04 PM
I think I've told you guys earlier what Greek Fest is... But just to brief you guys about it again, it's an activity where seniors dress up as Greek gods and goddesses. [= Batch Solid06 started it, our Angels had it, batches Optimus and Infragilis Nexus didn't, and now we're reviving it. :D
Anywayss.. Greek Fest isn't as easy as it seems, we had to make props... LOTS of it... We had to have costumes [of course]... And we had to memorize our lines for our introductions, and some had to act stuff out for the short play.
We actually had it on a rainy day [October 6, 2009]. That's right... Ma'am Jerrel actually asked us if we wanted to postpone it so that we wouldn't have to go through the trouble of bringing all our props to FGB Hall and running under the rain in our costumes.
Some of us wanted to postpone it so that we could prepare more, practice lines, and improve some of the scripts... and of course keep ourselves and our props from getting wet in the rain. But of course a lot of us also wanted to push through with it so that we could get it over with and besides, we've all changed into our costumes and rushed a lot of the props, so we didn't want any of that to go to waste. te.
That's us in the classroom preparing for Greek Fest. :D Some were already having their photoshoot, Me, Char and Aica were on our way to the CR to change into our costumes, and you can see DP in the further right side wearing his costume with his wig, helmet, and fake beard. :P [Yea, you can only see the back of my head :P]
Anyways... Yea... :P You'll see my costume later, it's just 2 yards of blue cloth wrapped around me, held together by a bunch of safety pins. :P Oh, and the white rope thingy [from my mom's jacket that I wore that day] that I used with my costume coz It looked too plain without it [Actually, the first plan was to use my necktie, but white looked better than red]. :P [Thanks, Med :D]
That was during the performance. Psyche [Med] was going around with her lamp looking for Cupid [DN] like in their story. She's with Nyx [Arian] going around giving light to everybody one by one so we could introduce ourselves. But if the light doesn't hit us, we're all frozen. I guess you get the point. :P
You can see me in the pictures. :P We're on the left side of the stage by the forest area. I was supposed to be with Josh and Pres by the water area, but then Josh didn't show up and It would've been pointless if Pres and I stayed by the water part alone. So the muses stayed there and Pres [Aphrodite] stood by the center of the stage.
Anywayss... I'm the one sitting down [you have no idea how much my legs hurt when I stood up], you can see the light reflecting on my dog tag. [I was supposed to hide that > . <]
After the introductions, we cancelled the acting part [since no one was able to practice much coz some of the scripts were only given the day before] and we went on to the cat walk. :D
We All went up there one by one [except for a few who went up by twos] and told the audience who we are.
That's me! :D Hahahah! :P
After the "catwalk" we had to end the whole thing. Honestly, if I was part of the audience, I think would've gotten bored, but hey, I wasn't. Haha! :P Everyone left, and we stayed to clean up and [of course] take pictures. :P Come on, don't think we can take not having pictures after any event. :P We're talking about Sfidato after all. xD

As for the second picture, that's [L-R] DanDan's arm holding DN's bow and arrow, Bianca, Thea, Jam, Med, Gianne, Bruce [covered by Chryzia's Spear], our adviser Ma'am Pam [Below Gianne], Chryzia, Arian, Me and Janine. :D [I bent down coz I thought there was someone behind me. Hahah! :P]
Then after that we all ran back to school under the rain [again]. Some changed to informal, some others [like me] changed back to the uniform and a few decided to just wear their costumes going home. Then we cleaned up the classroom where the props and everything else were messed up. :P
Then I went home with my sister. Yea, we couldn't get a taxi and the jeep place was too far if we wanted to walk under the rain sharing just one umbrella, so yea, we were really wet and we had to call our dad to pick us up and bring us to our mom. :|
But you know... at the end of the day, it was all fun. [= Ma'am Jerrel said that it was nice and nothing looked rushed and our impromptu performances didn't seem like they were impromptu. :D
And even if we weren't ready and we had the choice to postpone or not, choosing to push through was a good choice because for a whole week after that, we didn't go to school because of typhoon Pepeng.
So Quantum and Wave [who were going to have their Greek Fest the following day] had to postpone, and because of that it seems like they're having a hard time. I don't know if they are, but to me it seems like it. They had to have their individual "Greek Fest" some time last week, and their actual Greek Fest will be some other time.
Anywayss... That's it for the Greek Fest post. :P Next up, SOFAD. Hahah! :P After that, it's time to get back to the present time. :P
