Fun in the Sun ♫ 8:11 PM
Vacation is what you take...
So I have about an hour to make this post and I'm going to sleep. ^^
What did we do today? :D We had FUN!! ^w^ High-Purr! >w<
The SCAs [Student Class Advisers] and Ministers finally had our outing! [= We had it in Paradiso Resort in Aringay, La Union. :D
It wasn't as hot as I expected it to be. It was just warm and it was really breezy. ^w^ I actually went to school at 4:30. :)) I arrived at 5 AM and came just a few seconds before Sonya did. Hahahah! :)) Then Michiko arrived... then Shan.. Then we went to Nalig's house to help carry food and other stuff. :)
Then we went back to school with a few others who carried stuff and saw almost everyone there already. Hahah! :D Then we kept taking pictures and we left for La Union. :D
I was supposed to sit beside Sonya but then.. I didn't wanna be the KJ and ruin a guy's opportunity... So I stayed behind them with Rovie. Hahah! :D I hope you get what I'm saying... I can't say it directly since it's not really my story to tell. :P
Anywayss.. :D When we arrived, we immediately set our things down then had our morning devotion. :D We even sang Bind Us. ^w^
After that I think we started going into the pools. Hahahah! :D But before we entered the pools, we sat down in our hut thingies for a while and cooled off. Hahah! :D
Then I looked near the pool area where some of our batchmates were already getting into the pool and the first person I saw was Kuro Neko... In his swim wear!!! >w< He was wearing shorts and no top at all [like the other guys], and all I could do was stare with eyes glued on him, my mouth wide open, and I couldn't even breathe. Seriously, I tried to breathe, but I couldn't! > . < Nyao~ He's HOT! Hahahah! ^w^
Weeeeeee~ Then that's when we went into the pools. :P At first we were all just standing there doing nothing, watching the others swim. [We practically had the resort all to ourselves since it's a Baguio Holiday (Centennial) and people in La Union have school and work. :P ]
After a while, we got tired of the pools, so while others were cooking lunch, most of us went to the beach. Then we played Tug of War!! :D Hahahah! Best 2 out of 3 rounds. xD
1st round was on the sand... then 2nd and [supposedly] 3rd round was on the water. Ooooh! Hahah! :P Girls and boys were equally distributed, but our team lost in the trial and the first 2 rounds. Hahahah! We're such losers! :)) That meant we didnt need a 3rd round.
So as punishment, we had to roll from the sand, going down to the water. Hahahah! :)) We started at about 3-5 meters from the shore and lay down in a line. Then when they signalled, we girls were so worried about sand getting in our hair, but we went and rolled anyways. Hahahah! :D
At first, I was going slow just to make sure I wouldn't hit Thea or Daryll... Then our bodies started to go slanting so we had to fix our positions, but due to dizziness from rolling so much, we couldn't stop and just kept going and going faster. Hahahah! :)) When I reached the water, I was about to stop, but then I was so dizzy, that when I sat up, I kept falling over. Hahahahah! xD
Even Jam, Thea and Daryll, I couln't see the others though, since we were near the end of the line. :P
After that, I went back to the place near the Hut thingies, then played guitar with Sonya, then we fell asleep at a table under a huge umbrella. Hahah! :D Sometimes the heat just really makes you sleepy. ^^
Then after that was lunch. Hahahah! :D The food was really good. :D It was all grilled and we ate from Pandan leaves [i think that's what they're called.] First thing I ate was Hotdog then a couple slices of cucumber and then a whole lot of Barbecue! :D
Then Rovie started telling me that the barbecue I ate was Dog meat. ]= And I promised myself that I'd never eat dog... EVER! Kind of like how I promised myself that I'd NEVER drink... EVER. > . <
Anywayss... So I kept going around asking people if it really was dog meat and some were told by Rovie to say yes, and some people just really said yes to try and joke me. > . <
Even manong VJ sounded so convincing! Hahahah! :P But yeaa... Kate told me she bought the meat at SM and that it was pork and not dog. [= Hahahahah! :)) And then everyone kept saying "No, it's not dog, they're joking you lang." and stuff like that. :D
Anywayss... after lunch we went to swim again. Hahah! :D
This time, we had games! :D We were at the pool and the first game we played was kind of like a relay. Well... It was a relay. Hahah! :D
At some parts, we had to run in the water, or look for a coin that Caleb threw into the water, some had to run on land and some had to swim. :P
The good swimmers were distributed among the three groups of 10 people and I was in Aeron's group. Yeaa... :)) I chose to be there since he's the best swimmer in our batch. Hahahah! xD
There were 2 rounds and in the first round, I was the one who was tasked to look for the coin underwater. It wasn't that hard to get the coin, it's just that whenever I'd go into the water and reach for the coin, the coin would slip off of my fingers. It took me around 4-5 tries before I got the coin, and it turns out, I got a 10 peso coin when I was supposed to get a 1 peso coin. > . <
But Jillian had the 1 peso coin, and she needed the 10, so we switched. Hahahah! :P Then we ran to our groupmates. Yes... we ran in water... Not swim... Run. Hahah! :P
2nd round, I just ran. :P Probably coz I was really bad at trying to get the coin. :))
Then at the end, the losers had to... [I forgot what it's called] It's like the winners and the 2nd placers would line up in the water with their legs open and the losing group would swim under us one by one. Hahahah! :D It was funn.. coz we were the 2nd placers. :)) So we didn't have to do it. :P
But it felt weird when some people would swim under us and they'd hold our legs or our ankles so they could pull themselves forward. Hahahah! :)) I liked it though when Jam was the one doing it, she didn't touch me and no part of her body, not her back, not her shoulders or arms touched my legs. Hahahah! :))

The Ricco went last, he was like... the leader of the team since he was their swimmer. And since he was the last, everyone who he'd already passed left the line... and continued to line up at the back. Hahahah! Just so he'd have to go further. Gosh, the batch trippings. :D
Then after the relay, we played Tag! Hahahahah! xD Not the normal kind of tag. It took really long. Whoever the it is, will tag someone, and that someone would also be it together with the previous one. So as the game goes, there would be more it's. :))
Everyone who was it can tag anyone, but the condition is that those people have to be connected... like holding hands, or linked arms... as long as there's skin contact. It's not as easy as it sounds. :))
I was part of the first 10 to get caught. -.-" Hahahah! After me was Kuro Neko. So I was hoping he'd hold hands with me. [Asa naman :P] But then he went over to the other end of the line and connected with someone else. Aaaaww.. :))
Anywayss... the people who survived in the end was Laika and Aeron. :P
Aeron was the last one we caught though. Hahahah! :P But we still caught him. xD
After that we took pictures of us forning a 10 in the water. :D I forgot when this happened, but we also did that thing that swimmers do when they do synchronized swimming. When they're all out of water then they dive one person after the other. Sonya has pictures and a few videos.
And again, I don't really have any. ]= So I'll wait for them to upload and all. :D [GSP pictures are up... I'll post them when I have time. ^^]
After that we all went to wash up, but some of us decided to go back to the pool coz a lot of people were using the showers. Then I realized I lost my bracelet... The yellow one I'm always wearing... The one Twinkle gave me about two years ago... The one I never take off... Yea, that one. So I went out of the water and started looking everywhere. The manongs and a few batchmats were helping me look for it. Then I went back near the Hut thingies and I found it. :D
Weeeeee~ Hahah! :P
So I went back to the water and swam with the others. I did that swimming thingy where you go really low and swim near the floor of the pool and go up again. [I don't know how to explain it well, but yea :P] I did that in the 4 feet area then went near the edge of the pool.
Then I forgot I was closer to the shallow part, I was in the 3 feet area of the pool and I forgot that I was, so I put my head into the water then I pushed myself down and low enough to be only a few inches away from the floor, but when I opened my eyes under water, I remembered, I was in the shallow area. So the second I opened my eyes, I hit my face... ]=
Yea... it's sad.. I hit my face on the floor of the pool. And when I went up, my lip started to hurt, then I touched it only to find out that it was bleeding. ]=
But I was fine after I washed off the blood for a few minutes. I was even about to go to Cess [Red Cross minister] like what Daryll told me to do, but I didn't anymore since the bleeding stopped and it didn't hurt much anymore.
So yea, that's a rushed story of what happened today. Hahah! xD
The post looks boring coz there aren't any pictures, but I'll post some soon. [=
On the way home, I slept for the whole trip.. :| Hahah! xD I easily get car sick, so I decided to sleep it off. :P
When we got back to Baguio, Sonya woke me up when we reached school, I heard fireworks. Yes, today was Baguio Day... Baguio Centennial, to be exact... :D Baguio City is celebrating its 100th year of... [I don't know the word to use. Hahah! :P]
Anyways, then I took a taxi home, it was 7 something PM so yea. :P
That's it... I'm gonna go get some sleep ^^ I wanna feel the waves and the water's movement around my body like how it was before when I used to swim a lot. ^^ I haven't felt that feeling in a long time. :D Now I'm going to! xD [I bet you know that feeling when you lie down after swimming. ^^]
